From Tranås comes a bunch of seasoned hockey warriors who prove that age is just a number – while the ice skates are a considerably bigger challenge.
Tranås Road Warriors arriving at the Niels Larsen Trophy with plenty of experience, team spirit and that kind of stubbornness that only gets better with the years. The speed might not quite be what it once was and the warm-up now needs to be planned with somewhat greater care, but when the puck drops, the ambition remains the same: foot to the floor.
At least for about 45 seconds.
Behind the banter is, of course, a bunch of people who still love hockey, competition and everything that goes on around the matches. And that very combination of hockey, camaraderie and a healthy dose of self-irony fits pretty well with what the Niels Larsen Trophy is all about.
We look forward to seeing what Tranås Road Warriors can perform on the ice and how much recovery time they need afterwards.
A warm welcome to the Niels Larsen Trophy!
